This week we're talking about Kearsten's new favorite series, Throne of Glass. This week's episode dives into the second book of the series, Crown of Midnight. Although, we both love SJM with all our hearts and a large part of our personalities, this book was not the one for us. Listen in to find out why we didn't love all of the twists and turns that came together to create Crown of Midnight and this episode!

Hang out while we dive into the second book in the Serpent and Dove series, Blood and Honey. We had a lot of fun being a part of Shelby's world of unique characters. This was an interesting second book to the series and we had some thoughts for sure! Let us know how you felt about this book! Spoilers: Serpent and Dove & Blood and Honey By Shelby Mahurin, with references to Crescent City & Throne of Glass By Sarah J. Maas, and Neverwhere By Neil Gaiman.

This was a windy tale with some serious plot twists and even better character development. We loved chatting about the final installment in this series and truly loved this ending. Shelby is an amazing writer and we, collectively, can not wait to see what she comes up with next! So tune into this episode where we cried, laughed, screamed, preached, and generally just had a great time!

This was such a fun book to cover for our book club in June that we knew we needed to dedicate an entire episode to this gem of a book. This was less action packed continuation in the Kingdom of the Wicked series and Tatyana is for sure here for it! While Kearsten loved the Italian coast line setting, there's a whole new world to be discovered in this second novel. Not as NA as we had all hoped, but here we are! So welcome to Hell and may you find your house of sin to align with before the Sin Quarter turns you into an ice pop.

Come hang out for our first contemporary romance, The Ex Hex! This Hallmark movie wrapped up into a 300 page book was the perfect October read and helped us all collectively get out of our September Slump.

Tatyana feels like she's seen this Hallmark movie, all that was missing was an iconic appearance by Santa Claus, and Kearsten has an idea for the best alternate ending that we all kind of wish was true.
